In the context of mobility and waiting, a habitation proposal was requested which would serve both as a place and as a building program for  populations needing flexibility while frequently changing venue.
Having as a scope the city of Volos those parts of the city that have high mobility, (university, polytechnic schools, squares, transportation , hotels) were analyzed and contribute to a chosen venue for the proposal in a strategic position. Alongside research was done on people who have greater mobility in the urban web of this period (immigrants, students, refugees, residents). The main study criterion (timeline diagrams) was the period in which they resided in the city. Starting therefore from hours to years and taking into account the infrastructure needed by specific groups, the building program was decided.
A basic distinction between permanent and temporary residents of the block was decided ,with the one group focusing on public functions with greater proportion of public spaces having  sleep space as the only private, while the other group displays  more privacy in a residential condition.
Finally an emphasis in the design process was the mode of intervention in the urban network chosen. Most functions on the ground level were maintained, although there were new road redefinition of squares and green space, while special attention was given to the existence of a periodic street market which was transferred inside the block.
